Central Elementary

These students tutor, encourage, act as tour guides for new students and community leaders, and foster friendship skills for peers. They serve a minimum of onehalf hour a week in service to their peers. A bi-monthly meeting is used to restructure jobs, review strategies, and perform various clerical duties (i.e .. I'm Thumbody buttons and Red Ribbon Week activities). These students are selected from the fourth, and fifth grade pool. Teacher and parent input is used for the initial application of students.
